I ordered the rice and beef suya from Bukka Island and was seriously impressed. The meal was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and came in generous portions. Easily one of the best Nigerian food spots around! Would be ordering from them soon and often

I enjoyed my meal, this is a solid portion for the price. The rice and beef tasted fresh and the plantain was hot! This is my best Nigerian food spot near downtown Houston, i'll be back again!

My new jollof rice spot in Houston! It tasted really good, the jollof was slightly unflavored, the suya was a little cold as well but when I heated it up it went straight to a 10!! I love it . Portions are amazing too

While the food was good. My Bukka Chicken Sandwich came with 3 pieces of bread. I ordered the Plantain and Bukka Chicken Sandwich the total came to be around 26dollars. It came down to around $20.

I had the 2 5 piece Jerk Chicken Wings - 5 piece and I was shorted 2 pieces than I didn't receive my Lemonade. That might be a driver issue, however the driver informed me that he wasn't given the drink. I should've still checked. So I decided to still attempt what was left of my order, when I opened and noticed it was 2 pieces missing, I looked at the other 3 and it looked extremely dry , I bit into it and could tell that it was not made fresh.
