By far the best bagels in DC. Yes, better than Bethesda. Only Skolnicks in white flint in the 80s made better bagels.
The Salt bagels have just the right amount of flake salt.

Bagels were weirdly small and hard and didn't taste fresh. Too many sprouts on the hummus bagel and the onions I added were thrown on top. On the outside of the bagel. CYM is more expensive but much better.

I hardly ever submit reviews. But, I've gotta say, the bagels and the cream cheeses at Bullfrog Bagels are really, really good. I have been ordering a few times a week since I've been in DC (from Brooklyn, btw) and I love everything about this place. The bagels are 100% NYC authentic. The chive CC and Jalapeño CC are delicious. Bullfrog always gets my order right and prepared quickly. Highly recommend.

Bullfrog Bagels' biggest problem is consistency. On a good day, you get delicious bagels, crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. On a bad day, you get misshapen, flat, underbaked bagels with uneven toppings. Today was a pretty good day for the Half Dozen Bagels, thankfully.

I paid $11 for the bagel, then a other $7 for it to be delivered. The bacon was dry and tough, they gave me one small piece of salmon, slapped a dollop of cream cheese and then overloaded it with onions and tomatoes and the lettuce I asked to be removed. for $18, this is not what I expect from Bullfrog. and I order this sandwich all the time from them specifically because they have great ingredients. But not today...ended up throwing half of it away.
