• 12/30/24This is my first time trying Burger Bar Chicago, and I am thoroughly upset with them. The Burger Buddies are absolutely terrible! They were nothing like the photo and looked much, much smaller. The burger was black and hard like charcoal, dry, and salty. The buns had to have been a so-called "mini bun" cut in half! For $10.50, this was a waste of my money! I won't be ordering from here again.

• 5/11/26prices have gotten higher :( but they have the best veggie burger and always fresh food. the chili was small but had great flavor, probably wouldn't reorder that just because of the price but i would order again from this store.

2. The burger wasn't properly made.
The tomato was the end that should've went in the trash. Which I paid additional for but didn't eat.
The onions weren't caramelized, paid extra.
The mushrooms seemed to be straight out of the can, paid extra
The egg was over cooked, paid extra
Only two stars because with the Mayo and ketchup added it was good.
$20 burger for that burger was Highway robbery.
The fries were great! Not worth $5 but great.

• 1/23/26I ordered from The Burger Box Chicago via DoorDash and was very impressed overall.
The Backyard Classic burger was exceptionally delicious, cooked to perfection, and packed with great flavor. The Sassy Wings were also very good with a well-balanced, enjoyable taste.
The only downside was the tater tots, which felt a bit overpriced for the portion size and were slightly overcooked. They were just okay compared to the rest of the meal.
Despite that, the food quality was strong, and I would absolutely order again.
Overall rating: 8.75 out of 10.
