We tried Burger King again, this time without a drink so we wouldn't have to grow a third arm to carry a bag, a drink, and close the door before the birds and bees fly into our place. We did like the Coke we got with our last order, but we didn't want to risk spilling anything, so no drink this order.
The burger was BIG and the fries were once again great! We enjoyed our meal, including the beverage we supplied ourselves. The Whopper was large and good, nice quantity of tasty French Fries, and the speedy delivery - thanks to our Dasher this afternoon, Blanca, was two thumbs up and 5-star rating all the way around. Good work everybody, especially me since my better half was listening to something on his scanner therefore too " busy" (he's the neighborhood snoop) to get the delivery at the door.
That Whopper might become our new burger chain favorite.

Gonna start with the French Fries . We so like the fries at BK as opposed to the little skinny ones from McD's. Taters are to be eaten, and we ate these with gusto and nothing else..naked fries are the only way to go, but your tastes may vary so eat 'em how you like 'em.
We customized the Original Chicken Sandwich, so instead of mayo and shredded lettuce, we wanted dill pickles, mustard, and barbecue sauce. We did like how fresh the buns were on these sandwiches. (Who doesn't like fresh buns?) And our Combo of the Condiments satisfied our craving for a different taste rather than the typical mayo on every sandwich served almost everywhere. We could sort of taste the chicken on our modified Original Chicken Sandwich, but truth is our Customized Combo of Condiments was a little too overwhelming for the chicken patty to be the star attraction. Overall, however, we enjoyed making it different, and we enjoyed scarfing it down (kids, look up the word "scarfing" and you'll be wiser for it) so we advise getting out of the rut and trying something creative, and if you don't like it..🥴..sorry. (Blame the Other Half of our tag-team food critique.)
Chow for now. (We know, it's really Ciao, not Chow. It's a pun, people.)
Regards, The Better Half.
Thanks Dasher Christopher for a smooth delivery. And thanks to the staff at Burger King for the napkins...we are messy eaters.

BK, if you were to provide a cupholder for an order with drinks, making it easier on the Dashers and on your DD customers, you would have earned yourself a 5-star rating.
The other half (him) said his Whopper was good.
The better half (me) enjoyed the large Unsweetened Iced Tea
Yikes, hot day today so didn't feel like cooking (but then we seldom do). So, BK, by way of DD, to the rescue!
We were able to use a cupholder previously provided by McDonald's, and a small bag with handles, saved from a previous order from The Whistle Stop. This bag held the cupholder perfectly, so we (and by "we", I mean the Dasher and I) got everything into the house without spillage. And thank you to Dasher Charles for helping with that. (Dasher Charles is quite dashing, and helpful as well.)
All this took place while the other half (him) just sat and watched from his recliner. I (the smarter, better, more clever half) will get even some day. 🤭

We liked the French Fries very much.
We could not taste anything on the BBQ Bacon Whopper Jr. except the BUN. Less bun, more everything else would be an improvement.
The Coke was great! However, this is where Burger King could take a page out of McDonald's playbook and put everything in one sealed bag. Here's the problem with a bag AND a drink cup to pick up, rather than one bag to pick up -- how do you close the door when your hands are full of Burger King items? Two hands, both carrying food/drink, ergo: hard to close the door unless one of us suddenly sprouted a third hand, (which we hope we never do, so impossibly hard to find a 3-armed shirt).
People of food businesses, please hear our plea....satisfy the customers if you want to continue to have customers.
Make it easy on us to receive the order. One bag and a cupholder included in the bag with the cup(s) in it when necessary.
Describe your food accurately.
We know inflation is here for awhile, so value us because we are your customers, yet we are not under any obligation to buy from you. (Nor are we under any obligation to lecture you, we just like the power of anonymous reviews!)
PS, we want to see all businesses thrive, we hope you want to see your customers thrive, too.
OK, enough lecturing for one review. Until next time, leaving on an upbeat comment...we sure loved the Coke and those fries! 😋

The double whopper was a bit flavorless to me, and the onion rings I got left a weird film of grease in my mouth and throat. Kinda disappointing, considering they just updated and redid their entire kitchen.
