Always my go to for a pound of tritip, and a loaf of bread. No other bbq joint in Ventura compares, even the places that stole their recipes.

got the The B.B.Q Multi-Meat Combo - 2 Meat Combo, with tri tip and beef ribs. the tri tip was good with good smoke and relatively juicy, but those were the smallest beef ribs i have ever seen. the thickness of a pork baby back rib. they also were also very dry. not sure i will be back. the sides were also tiny.

Man! Where do I begin? The cole slaw, the macaroni salad, the beef ribs, the chicken, and the brisket...everything was amazing! I had to check that I was in Cali and not Texas! Genuine and just fantastic! Id love to try more sauces next time I visit. And I will! Highly recommended an authentic!

my meal came with 2 ribs with a little meat, 2 sausage links, pinto beans, a small cup of potato salad and mac. 2 pieces of bread... The meal wasn’t the best, but I absolutely loved the hot links. The beef ribs and potato salad were okay, and the BBQ sauce wasn’t that flavorful. It came in with a side of baked beans, but I’m not sure if they were mashed pinto beans? (no flavor) and Unfortunately, the mac salad wasn’t tasty.

Wasn't good. The pork ribs were too fatty, chili beans were bland, and so was the potato and macaroni salad. And the sauce seemed like they had too much allspice or nutmeg in it. I should have gone to my regular bbq spot: It's In The Sauce. Now they have some good bbq.
