I would order the quesadillas again. They are always large and generous lots of cheese and I liked the Barbacoa beef in mine but I would not order these little steak tacos. They're tiny and there's little meat in them disappointing no flavor either. I added lettuce and cheese and it was just covered in lettuce. That's all you could taste. They said corn tortillas would be cooked and cheese, but the cheese was really undetectable.
Tres Leches cake was good no whipped cream, toppings or strawberries like they used to give, but still tasty. Churro cookie was excellent. First time trying that.

Fresh, super delicious, huge portioned burrito. Way way, way better than Chipotle. Not even in the same league.
Saving the rest of the Burrito for tomorrow. Yum! Definitely will order again.

We love Café Rio generally, we have nothing but great reports unfortunately this time it was not good. I got a quesadilla with the beef and it came totally soggy and some chunk of unidentifiable flabby skin that didn't even look like the normal beef. Biggest complaint is they put it in 10 with foil and it's just soggy and wet by the time it gets down the street 10 minutes. Mostly inedible unfortunately. This was our first time ordering a quesadilla with anything but cheese we like the cheese ones but with meat it was gross. The soup asked if I wanted chicken in it I said yes, shredded chicken. I don't know why they even asked because it was just sludge with very little chicken almost couldn't see it. Very disappointing and overly salty. I don't know why they don't put the whipped cream toppers on each of the desserts they come bare. I've enjoyed the Tres Leches cake many times but this time it was dry instead of moist despite the sweet milk on top. Just didn't really absorb. The Keylime pie came without whipped cream topping and also it's just very tart. But it was the better of the two. Usually great big fans of this place, but unfortunately that quesadilla and soup were really lousy this time.

The double shredded chicken tacos are what I ordered and nothing seemed fresh at all. Hardly any chicken on the tacos (naybea pinch of meat) . Asked for salsa Fresca and pico on the tacos, the tortillas fell apart from all the salsa that was thrown on. The rice was wet, almost like the water was not drained. The chicken was bland, but I also got hardly any to eat. I used to love Cafe Rio. But this specific location is the one that is closest and automatically chooses when ordering. I wont be ordering from this place for a while if ever again. Sad.
