It was my first time trying this place and although I didn't recieve a good first slice of cake I am open to trying them again. The Carolina's Chocolate Cake had a lot of holes in it indicating that the batter wasn't thoroughly mixed. On top of that , because it wasn't very well mixed it led to a lot of dry spots in the cake itself which I didn't really like. The chocolate frosting was very oily and didn't spread well, it was also kind of clumpy. Overall I would say that the slice of cake for $7 is a bit on the small size , there are other places you could go to which give you bigger slices for $6. I will be trying this place again since it has decent reviews! I just think maybe today was an off day since my slice clearly wasn't fresh.

Definitely the best cakes I've had I try grab the sweet potatoes every chance I get I came the other day & grab the last to slices & spoke with the owner she the nicest person you would want to meet I love this place

I got the Mini Apple Cobbler and it was phenomenal !! It wasnt dry at all and tasted absolutely amazing!! I also got the Lemon Pound and it was so so good! It was nice and dence and moist and the lemon glaze on top was super good!! I also got the Triple Chocolate cake and it was nice and moist! The portions were all good sizes too! I will absolutely be ordering again!

I live almost 300 miles away from my Dad, and I rarely get to be with him on birthdays and special occasions. I've sent him cake for his birthdays from Cakes Etc By Cindy for the last couple of years, and he and his wife rave! He loves the Strawberry Shortcake , Pineapple Coconut Cake, and Triple Chocolate, so I send a variety of slices. They say the cake is as good as homemade, so if I can't be there to bake for him, at least he gets something delicious to celebrate his big day. He's 91, and I will send him cake from Cindy's for the rest of his life!
