Caplinger's Fresh Catch Seafood Market was founded with the goal of bringing fresh, high-quality seafood to the Midwest. Employees at Caplinger have a total seafood experience of more than 150 years.
Always fresh catch. Lobster roll was fire. The coconut shrimp meal was super crispy and even the hush puppies were just the right size for dipping. Caplinger's has been the place to go for our family for decades ever since they were on 56 Street and Emerson. It's nice to pass this Indianapolis tradition down to our kids.

the catfish nuggets had more fish than expected with a light coating. i expected mostly breading and i was wrong. the nuggets were great.
In addition, although i didn't order it i got two bonus hush puppies which were DELICIOUS and I'll definitely order that as a side in the future.10/10

YUMMY! We had perch, cat nugs, added 1/2lb shrimp, and whole catfish dinners. All of it was delicious and fresh tasting. I like the crisp on the fish, we got ours just regular. The dinners weren't over salted. All the fish were moist and flaky. They also had my order ready exactly on time and it was kind of a larger order. Great job fellas!

I didn't get my fish or clams but all shrimp instead which was frustrating but I still have to give 5 stars because the food was so good. Mac and cheese just needed a little bit more pepper but the perfect consistency. The yams were nice and not overly sweet. It was awesome food. Worth the money.

I paid for a side with the Cod Sandwich which they completely left out. The cod was ordered grilled, and it was overcooked/rubbery. The portion size was extremely small, maybe 3 oz of fish. Paid $13 for that on a bun with some lettuce.
