This meal is what I've come to expect from chain restaurants. The fish was crispy and taste good. The coleslaw was average. The mac and cheese was good, but you get such a ridiculous small amount, it isn't worth paying over a dollar extra for it. The Shrimp10 Piece Butterfly Shrimp were not butterfly shrimp, they sent small weird shrimp, I feel cheated. If they were put of 10 Piece Butterfly Shrimp ,they should have notified me, not subbed with the crispy fried shrimp pieces. The Jalapeno Poppers were delicious. I won't be ordering from here again; substitution wasn't good and I don't appreciate it. The tea tastes fine.

This was the worst fish dinner i had ever gotten from Captain Ds. I ordered 4 piece meal with fries slaw and hush puppies. I received a 3 piece with fish that was overcooked to the point of it being hard and uneatable. I also did not receive any slaw with my meal. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want to waste your money and like terribly prepared foods.

Captain D's sould let people know that they are no longer selling the same type of fish. Now they are selling a cheaper fish from Asia. No longer white and flakey, now it's pink and chewy and doesn't taste near as good as the fish they used to sell. Just another example of a food chain trying to save money at the customers expense.

ordered the 2 Piece Batter Dipped Fish Meal and my fish had a real raw fishy taste. Okra and hush puppies was burnt like it was prepared in old grease.
