Just as good as it was 20 years ago! It could use a touch of seasoning but the huge am of meat makes up for it. A really yummy traditional Skipper (Cheesesteak)
And don't even get me started on the crinkle cut French Fries - Medium! More like a large!

These are the best cheesesteaks in the area. They are overstuffed, seasoned well, and just greasy enough to be absolutely freaking delicious. The fries and gravy do not disappoint either. This is the quality I grew up with!

Once upon a time, about 20 years ago, I first tried Captain Harvey's.
I bit into what I could manage to grasp and wept openly in the face of what I thought to be an indifferent universe, and, I swear it, I saw the wink of a loving glance.
This evening, I happened to see them on Doordash. Through trembling fingers, I placed my order and waited.
Folks, it's back. It's the only proof of a benevolent universe, and it's deliverable.
Cast aside your false idols, hearken back to your most primal self, and feast upon the bounty of space and time coalescing into their most perfect form: a cheesesteak with enough meat to dam the mighty Mississippi.
They even called, seconds after placing the order, to confirm my special requests (I only eat cheese and steak on my cheesesteak).
1000/10, would ride, and die, for this restaurant.

The Chicken Cheesesteak was good but definitely NOTHING like the regular cheesesteak. It tasted really good but was severely lacking in meat. Doubt that was even a standard size breast worth of meat there was so little on it. Maybe about a quarter or even a fifth of what goes on a regular cheesesteak, it was pathetic. It was pretty much all toppings. The roll was really good and fresh. I had to get the French Fries - Medium cause I love crinkle cut which is hard to find. They were cooked perfectly and plenty of them, they should have been salted out of the fryer though.
