• 11/5/23Taste wise the food is fine, but I think to call it a "family pack" is extremely misleading. There was barely enough rice and beans to feed one person (approx. 6 spoon fulls per container). The birria was maybe good enough to feed 2 adults with a small appetite. They did give a bunch of tortillas and salsa, but it made no sense given that there wasn't enough of the other stuff to eat it with lol. Anyway I've spent half the price buying a one-person meal at other Mexican restaurants and end up with so much more than what I got from Cardenas.

• 2/28/23We upgraded the carnitas to 1.5lbs, paying $9 extra. Our dasher communicated they were out so we opted to sub Pollo. We received 3 leg quarters and half a breast, all on the bone. The pictures show diced meat in a bowl. Some of the chicken was very good, some very dry, and definitely not 1.5lbs of meat. No one likes the beans. I thought it'd be like a taquiza with cilantro and limes etc also, but no. Not sure if we'll try this again.

• 7/3/22got the carnitas meal rice was fluffy and flavorful the beans were just right meat was crunchy on the outside and moist and juicy tortillas was plenty and soft

• 11/7/23I didn't really expect peas and carrots in the burrito and in the rice. Rice was undercooked and the beans were so watery and flavorless. The consistency was all over the place. First time ordering and probably won't again. Got a birria Plate with Your Choice of Meat and an asada Burrito. Maybe other things taste better here.
