the Arancini (Rice Balls) are always a good deal, today's were cheesier and saucier than they usually are, which made them brighter and creamier in flavor, which is great at this price point because they are quite often a little flat.
The Lasagna is big for the price, the pasta layers are filled with their meatball mix so it's got a lot of flavor and it stays very moist; the marinara it's generously topped with is more of a traditional pomodoro, crushed tomatoes slowly simered with a good quality olive oil and basil, it's got much more flavor and body than true marinara and the thickness keeps it from making the Lasagna soggy.
Overall incredibly good, and an incredibly good value. there's a reason why I eat here so much.

Cardona's never disappoints!! Even after decades of service! I LOVE this Two Chicken Meatballs with Tomato Basil Cream Sauce and the Pasta Fagioli is so filling and flavorful. Our favorite take-out Italian food!

This is genuinely the best sandwich I have ever had IN my life. We ordered for the office and everyone's is so delicious, accurate, a wonderful portion, fresh and wonderful. The chicken cutlet is immaculately seasoned, cooked perfectly and remains juicy and tender. i'm not even finished with my lunch and looking forward to ordering here again. Truly incredible.

12 dollars for Stuffed Shells & Meatballs that delicious and generous in serving is likely the best deal in Albany. Cardona's never disappoints, what a fantastic dish.
