Always delicious - lamb kebab pita sandwich the best with a mountain of tender lamb chunks. Spinach bourekas delicious with pine nuts. We've feasted there indoors and Door Dashing for the last 35-40 years. Can't get a better recommendation than that!

Mild lamb flavor. It's kind of a lamb stew altos a big piece of lamb shank. It's surrounded with potatoes, carrots and zucchini all in the sauce that has onion and tomatoes. O the side you get a massive container of vermicelli type rice, pickled turnips and olives and a big thin style pita. This can easily feed two.
I have ordered it many times before. It is consistent.

I have been a fan of this dish since you used to be able to get it for $6.00:-)
Although the price now is nearly $40.00 the quality and taste hasn't changed. I should say that you do get a lot for the money. Lots of stewed lamb with potatoes, carrots and zucchini in a nice sauce and a large size containers of rice, a couple of pitas and a container of marinated olives, red beet colored sliced turnip you typically get with Middle Eastern fare and some hot banana peppers. This serving is an ample amount to feed 2 very large portions or 3 average size ones-it is a deal! This special is only available on Tuesday and if you're lucky on Sundays.
If you enjoy mild tasting lamb try this.

Kibbeh Roll (Large 4).
I have had Kibbeh before in other places and they were smaller, lighter with a delicate filling. This was a generous portion. The outer layer was dark and oily and the filling was over spiced. I tried it and didn't want to eat it, I like mostly everything I ate here but this dish is a no.

I believe that the chef is one of the owners and this is because the food is always excellent and delivery orders are always accompanied by a big container of marinated veggies and a bag of pita which isn't part of the order. The Moussaka is amazing although doesn't resemble a Greek Moussaka at all. It is a vegetable stew with eggplant, tomatoes onions, garbanzo beans and lots of garlic cloves. It's slow cooked until super soft and melt in the mouth. The lamb skewer I got was perfectly seasoned but, slightly overcooked. It should have been medium rare not medium well. So it was a bit tough. Unfortunately you cannot leave a suggestion in the suggestion slot. It isn't giving an option to ask for Med rare for example so you are left to trust the chef which in most cases it's perfectly acceptable. I'd like to see the suggestion slot open to suggestions. Overall everything here is great. I highly recommend it.
