This place is the best! The 4 Piece Catfish, Butterfly Shrimp & Fries is amazing! Always hot and fresh!

Unique packaging gave the meal a fun presentation. The 4 Piece Catfish, Butterfly Shrimp & Fries quality was mixed. Shrimp tasted great. Hush puppies had a mild flavor that hit the spot perfectly. Fries were cooked just right. One piece of fish was wonderful. The other three tasted fishy. That is a poor taste in any kind of fish. Because most of the items were quite good, only 1 star was removed.

The portion of catfish and fries was very small for an order. The shrimp was Ok. Hush puppies were good. If you like real catfish, do not order this catfish dinner. I will not order it again. Didn't know it was coming from Captain D's. Wasn't worth what I paid for it!

The shrimp was good. However, the catfish was not tasty. While the coating seemed cooked through, the filets seemed undercooked. The taste was extremely fishy and the texture unpleasant. The fries seemed soggy and cold. The best part of the meal was the hush puppies. They had amazing flavor & texture, maybe not hot & fresh, but tasted good. Definitely would have been happier with a lot less fish, but more shrimp & hush puppies. All-in-all, probably won't order again.
