OH MY GOODNESS!! Thats what it was!! Absolute goodness! I have not had such delicious Thai food in so long. It tasted so fresh with just the right amount of spice. I ordered the green curry and jasmine rice with a thai tea with boba. Everything was perfect! Perfect temperature, perfect flavor and perfect amount! This is my new go to Thai place! Only problem is no boba straw.

I was a little disappointed because I had heard so many good things about this place.
The food was a bit bland compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve visited.
What I ordered:
* Pad See Ew – It lacked the rich color and soy sauce flavor I usually expect, and it only came with three pieces of broccoli.
* Thai Fried Rice – The texture was somewhat mushy and the flavor was fairly bland.
* Nam Khao – It had an unusual bitter taste that I wasn’t expecting.
* Thai Iced Tea – It wasn’t as sweet as traditional Thai iced tea typically is.
The service was fine, but unfortunately the food didn’t live up to the expectations I had based on the positive reviews.

Food taste great spicy level is acceptable for regular people. Therefore, I will order level 3 spicy next time instead of spicy or medium.
Beef Noodle Soup love the noodles and the soup. Lots of meat.
Gang Khew-Wan (Green Curry) medium spicy but not as spicy. Taste coconut. Love The flavor.
Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) very tomato ish taste. I like it to be spicier.
Will order again.

I've always wanted to try the Som Tum Thai (Papaya Salad with Dried Shrimp) but was afraid I wouldn't like it because it, but today I gave it a try and omg I'll always order a papaya salad from now on at any Thai restaurant! It was crunchy,spicy, and so savory!
I got the spiciest and omg it was extremely spicy just how I like it! I had this at home so I was able to enjoy this with pork skins 10/10!
The Num Tok (Grill Pork or Grill Beef salad) was delicious as well 7/10 wish it had more veggies. The beef was very tender loved the basil and cilantro added!

I have ordered multiple different items from here, countless times throughout the past 3 years. This is my go-to Thai restaurant, as they are consistent in quality, serve large portions for the prices, and the flavors are so authentic. Nothing compares. Kao Poon is my ABSOLUTE favorite, and the Tom Yum is the best I've had in the East Bay. Lots of vegetarian options for my mom as well, and they are always accommodating with our requests. Only been inside once for pickup and staff was super attentive and friendly. Cozy vibes. 12/10 would recommend!!!
