Fried Catfish my go-to plate never disappoints. Best catfish in town! It would be nice if the sides of candied yams and chili beans were larger. Charging $9 a piece for such a small amount as a side is not ok. I feel like for $9 it should be double in size. I also don't know why i have to pay extra for these sides, they should come with the dinner plate. I'm paying $40 for catfish yams and beans. Although the food is great that is way too much for one plate

The green bean casserole was good. The greens were so salty that it wasn't eatable. The chicken spaghetti looked nothing like the pictures or even close. It had a few pieces of chicken and barely any cheese on top. It was veryyy dry. I literally took it and had it add my own cheese and milk to thicken it up in my own pot at home. The fried chicken was mid. And the yams were the bomb!! It was veryyyyy good. The cornbread was very good also. I spent quite amount of bucks for 2 plates just to try out because I miss down home cooking . The portions were very reasonable. Would I order again? Nah. It's not hard to mess up chicken spaghetti. I understand everyone takes on greens but that's not it. If you are using canned greens you should drain them and use fresh water. I can't see fresh greens being that salty. The greens could have been veryyy good if they were not so salty. That's my honest review.

Pretty good place, I'd recommend the meatloaf and Mac. Rice is a little on the hard side. Fries taste like captain ds. Nice portion of meatloaf but sides are a little skimp. Hard to rate freshness since you loose a little bit on the ride from delivery but it doesn't lack flavor!

The meatloaf was a really big portion. The green bean casserole and the mashed potatoes are homemade and really good.
