I've been living out here for 4 years and just missed this place over and over again. I decided to walk in and get a cup Seafood Gumbo and Fried Catfish Plate...I have yet to explore more here! But it's the best!

I've ate here in person and ordered to go many times I've always received lovely customer service but unfortunately the food lacks consistency and quality. Many things lack seasoning and are pre breaded/from frozen.
The best thing on the menu is the Crawfish Monica (Better than Jazz Fest). Its quality is more consistent but the last time ordered it the pasta was over cooked and falling apart - which was a bummer. I also have enjoyed the gumbo and popcorn shrimp but the portions are on the smaller side.
Is the food awful absolutely not but if you're a lover of fresh seafood and New Orleans Jazzfest is it going to knock your socks off? Unfortunately no.

Love this place. The slaw is different and spicy. The chicken sausage gumbo is light and full of flavor. The staff is sweet and it's true Cajun vibe. Get take out twice a week!

was excellent! I love how the store pay attention to requested modifications. I asked for shrimp and a newly sausage to be added to my pasta and they did so with an upcharge and it was delectable! Love love loved it :-)The jazz Crawfish Monica (Better than Jazz Fest)

Charlie's knows what they are doing! I ordered the Crawfish Etouffee and the Cajun Tamales, both were better than i expected and portioned generously! I hesitated to try Charlie's because of the pricing, but it is well worth it, even down to the containers the food is sent in (keeps things nice and fresh, fried jalapenos were still crispy and perfect) I will be coming in person to try the Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain when it is in season
