• 2/24/23The special (Catfish Nuggets with Sauced Up Fries) is delicious. I cannot sing praises enough for any of Chef Dee's "sauced up" items -- but the "sauced up" Catfish nuggets AND fries are SO GOOD! So far I have tried the chicken wings (fabulous), sauced up fries (delectable), pasta (yummy), and now the "sauced up" catfish nuggets (scumptious). Just the right amount of sauce (and I LIKE sauce) -- and the flavor is perfect. Another great eating experience with Chef Dee's Creations!

• 7/5/24Blackened Catfish Shrimp Pastalaya had half a filet when it normally comes with a whole filet and is pictured as a whole filet. The filet is already super thin so getting a half a filet when it's already $20 is a slap in the face! The Fried Catfish Shrimp Pastalaya was much better on size and thickness, so I'm sure it comes pre-breaded and frozen but at least it had some weight to it. The Fried Okra was mushy, was my first time ordering it and was disappointed! I have ordered multiple times but getting half a filet doesn't make me want to order again.

• 5/19/24I had the (8) Wings Combo Alfredo Pasta and my wife had the Respect the Drip Fries. The wings were uninspiring, like what you'd get at Wingstop. The drums were overcooked and the wings were small altogether. They have great photos that the food didn't really hold up to. The pasta didn't have any flavor. For $25 I expected better from this combo.
The Respect the Drip Fries didn't have any meat, which was crazy for $18 fries. There also wasn't any description available for what was on the fries so it seems disingenuous because the pictures I saw looked like they had shrimp on them. The fries tasted good; but not $18 good. Overall the food was well overpriced and left a lot to be desired.

• 12/14/22I ordered the Fried Catfish Pasta and it was very disappointing. The catfish was quite thin, so cornmeal was the core flavor here. There were 3 pieces of tough, overcooked shrimp. The worst thing you can do when cooking shrimp. The container was loaded with pasta but the sauce was pretty mediocre. I might pay $8 for something like this if I knew how it would come out but that is why the pictures are deceiving and likely by design. I would not recommend this nor do I plan to spend my money here in the future.
While I appreciate Dee’s work with those experiencing homelessness or food insecurity the value here isn’t worth supporting. Peace and love.

• 2/26/23The crab shrimp catfish pasta lays is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. Seasoning was perfect. The stuff is, in a word, addictive. The okra is nothing to sneeze at, either. It travels exceptionally well, for those contemplating takeout. I can't praise these flavors enough. 10 out of five stars!
