Gyro was hot and delicious, hummus is seasoned nicely and the pitas were warm and tender. Fries were also hot and tasty, but the sandwich is so generous, I would probably skip the fries next time. Plenty left for dinner!

Gyros are really good. I like that the chicken is seasoned & shaved (like the beef /lamb meat) and not chunks like other places do. The pita is really soft and fresh.
My only complaint is that the feta is TEALLY salty

I have been ordering from Chicago Gyros for probably a year now. I wanted to try something different than Bella's, due to their menu changes and obvious recipe changes. I have been loyal to Chicago Gyros ever since! The Tzatziki & Pita (sauce) is so light and refreshing I can never get enough. I order the 8. Beef/lamb Gyro Plate every visit, and am never disappointed. I am always so impressed with the consistent quality of the food, they've never once accidentally forgotten to put anything in my bag down to the napkins and the utensils. The customer service is unmatched. I initially only used DoorDash to order and when I finally went in person, he honored a free meal to me, recognized my orders and my loyalty. Now I only order in person and he even brings my order to my truck because I am usually with my two small children. If you knew me you'd know that I complain about the death of good customer service since 2020, and Chicago Gyros gives me hope that there are still simply good people out there who provide good service!! Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

Everytime i eat here i get so unbelievably happy. The owner or who i assume the owner is, is always so kind and you can tell he uses fresh ingredients and puts love into his food! Good portions, seating area and quick on time. Support your small local businesses!! also great prices + packaging!
