Dangerously good fried chicken. I had the 6-piece Combo 1 and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I find undercooking can be a common issue with fried chicken places, but everything was thoroughly and safely cooked, and never overcooked or dried out.
The skin was crispy and not too greasy, but was very lightly seasoned- not an issue for me since I had ordered some flavorful and hearty gravy on the side. If I hadn't added the gravy, I'd probably dig some of my own seasoning out, or at least toss on a generous helping of pepper. The fries were golden and crispy with no sogginess at all.
Chicks R Us keeps things simple, but you can taste the care and attention they put into the food they make. If fired chicken is your comfort food, I don't think you'll do better in Pictou County.

Absolutely 💯screaming hot and fresh. Very crispy batter. Wedges are perfect. It's hard to imagine that delivery can be this fresh. Always a very good amount of food vs money. Perfection. Rare for a restaurant in Pictou County.

Wow... Just wow! This was by far the absolute best sandwich I ever had. The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich was so fresh, awesome sized chicken and the taste was out of this world! This reminded me so much of a chicken sandwich I had as a kid once and it just brought back that nostalgia. The Poutine as well,just wow. Such amazing fries! Whoever made this, you knocked it out of the park! Phenomenal food!! Highly Reccomend!Worth every penny !

Chicken Tenders were tough as leather and lukewarm, and they were small but thankfully they gave me 8 instead of 6. Sauce is just Heinz they sell for $1.30 per pack lol. Fries are good!
