Pint Fresca &side rice were REALLY delicious! side queso was VERY creamy & deLish & I KNOW everything is made in-house...but to pay almost $3 for what Chimis calls a "side" of queso [about 2 oz, pic] is a bit of a "Ransom"! Next time, I'll just buy the Pint!

Chimi's has the BEST white queso, AMAZING carne asada street tacos, the chicken chimichanga is totally FIRE, and the most DELICIOUS rice and beans! You really can't go wrong! I order Chimi's on the regular! The portion sizes are great especially for the price.

American Tacos (2) Excellent. The food is much better today, just barely a hint of salt! Taco shells and chips are thin, unsalted, fried and crunchy. Hamburger meat is well done, lightly seasoned with a good flavor. Refried beans are medium thick. Everything was really good and good size portions.
It came with tortilla chips, hot salsa and untensils.

The fajita steak chimichanga tasted ok, but it was
stuffed with A TON of onion strips, and was lacking in
the amount of steak meat. It didn't taste bad, but I would have enjoyed it more with a little more steak meat.

Nachos & side rice were Fab-U-Lous [with PLENTY of cheese], but the Fresca had an "odd" taste [sort of watery with a little TOO much jalapeño than normal and/or not ENOUGH cilantro], which is VERY disappointing; as I live for Chimi's Fresca [& it's always PERFECT from the Cherry Street location!]
