The Sweet and Sour Chicken was delicious, per usual. We order through DoorDash (and other delivery apps) quite frequently, and China Rainbow is literally the ONLY restaurant that gets the order right, every. single. time. And the generous amount of food that we get (we ALWAYS have leftovers) paired with the super affordable prices? Perfection.

the food is fantastic, but it was super upsetting how vastly different the portion sizes are between meals, especially 2 very popular chicken dishes. the sesame chicken had almost 3 times the amount of food as the orange chicken, so while my husband had leftovers, I had to get more to eat.
the orange chicken is not spicy as advertised, but the flavour is really good, though a bit sweet for my preference. it's not battered and fried like you'd see at Panda Express or most other places, but really thinly sliced pieces. most bites I couldn't taste any actual chicken.
My husband loved the sesame chicken, it's also a sweeter sauce, but the breading and amount of chicken per bite balance it fairly well. wouldn't recommend if you don't like a sweet sauce, but otherwise the flavour is fantastic.
the egg flower soup varies drastically between batches, sometimes it's very broth heavy, with a rich savory flavour. other times it's extremely vegetable heavy and the broth really gets lost.
overall, we don't know of a better Chinese place nearby for these prices and the food is tasty, so we'll be ordering more from them.

The food is always perfect from China Rainbow. Even when we have special requests due to allergies or whatnot, they always accommodate and get it right every single time. Our favorites are the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the sweet and sour pork, and the Chicken Fried Rice.

I wasn't impressed with the food at all. Panda Express has more flavor than what I got unfortunately. I got kung pao chicken broccoli and beef and orange chicken. The kung pao wasn't spicy at all and the orange chicken was basically all breading, the rice was not good. The rice and fried rice were the same thing they all tasted like they put way too much sesame oil in it so it's an unpleasant flavor even soy sauce didn't help. The broccoli beef was just an unpleasant flavor and that's normally my go to for Chinese. I will not be ordering here again.

This is definitely our new Chinese spot! Seriously the best Crab Puffs (Cream Cheese Rangoon) I've ever had. They are sweet and creamy!
