Amazing amazing amazing. As someone with celiac disease, the Gluten-Free Chicken Sandwich with Slaw was by far one of the best meals I've had in Santa Cruz hands down. Also they labeled everything and even seperated the Fries from my boyfriend's Chicken Sandwich with Coleslaw to avoid contamination. How sweet of them.

Hot & regular chicken sandwiches were delicious: crispy,with just the right balance w/pickles and coleslaw and dressing. Thumbs up on the Mash Potatos & Gravy but the Mac n Cheese is not baked like in the picture, bland, and not worth the extra expense. Maybe it's better if you eat in?

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love these chicken sandwiches and my order history can attest to that. Unfortunately, in the 3 times I have ordered in 2025, 2 out of 3 the Mac & Cheese was a cup of plain macaroni I assume because they didn't stir it up to get the cheese from the bottom. Tonight's hot chicken sandwich was all deep fried breading with a nuggets worth of chicken. I hope nothing drastic has changed with this restaurant for 2025 because it has been absolutely my favorite for chicken sandwiches for a very long time. Sorry for the negativity but I think my history as a customer should hold a little weight.

This place deserves to be on Diners, Drives-Ins, and Dives. The chicken is fire. The mac is cheesin. The fries are basically McDonald's fries but better. The best chicken sandwich in Santa Cruz.

Sandwich came disassembled which meant the chicken was still crispy and the bread was not soggy! Más h Potatos & Gravy and Mac & Cheese were absolutely delicous. Sandwich was a little spicy for me but the combo with the pickles was (chef's kiss)
