Chulita is a local, woman and minority owned business in the heart of Venice Beach. It is an Alta California style Mexican restaurant and mezcal/tequila bar.
The Beach Burrito is awesome.... Had it with the Chicken Tinga..... I wouldn't associate burritos with something a food critic would rave about (I'm not a food critic BTW), but the flavors and aromas are both complex and off the charts..... And also FRESH!! Bravo!!

The House Salsa and the Guacamole were great but Chulita did NOT include tostada for either one of the two dishes! Extremely careless packing and I am disappointed by their lack attention to this matter.

Appreciate that the meat is provide on the side so the tortillas don't arrive soggy. Also, the tortillas are delicious.
