This order was excellent. I had the 3 piece mixed combo. The pieces were large, tasty and fresh. The sides (mashed potatoes and cole slaw) were also very good. The fried apple pies were warm and tasty.
Church's is no stranger to me. In San Antonio, where I was born and raised, my Dad would let us accompany him to pick up Church's chicken. This was in the 1950's.

The 5 tender chicken strips, okra and honey biscuits were all over cooked-too crisp and hard. There was very littlechicken in the strips but lots of hard batter. Such a disappointment.

Surf and turf order they were out of shrimp. And gave me burnt chicken in place. Driver didn't understand to cancel order. It would be okay but chicken burnt and very dry. Like it had been sitting for awhile. Not satisfied with this order at all!

The chicken leg is the best thing ever. What you want to do, say if you want a 4pc chicken meal, is to do the 2pc but add on 2 extra legs. Cuz the legs are top tier but thighs and wings suck in general.

Mac and cheese looked like it was a day or 2 old, and was complete mush. We also did not receive our drinks that came with the combos. Some of the chicken was over cooked, like it had been under a warmer for several hours. Nothing was fresh except the biscuits.
