Good, everything was great. Taco Salad is a nice portion and fresh and Chicken Flautas fried prefect and stuffed with chicken and cheese (love those), and the Chuy Chuy Churro Bites were not greasy, worth every penny.

Ordered crispy beef tacos and they were filled poorly, and taco shells were cracked and broken. Side of rice and beans was criminally small and I was given Mexican rice when I ordered green chile rice.

Chuy's has gone to heck since it changed hands. The quality of the menu items has drastically changed. Tonight I ordered a beef burrito with Tex . It was nothing like it used to be. Like a tsp of beef and they forgot the Tex mex sauce.

This was my #1 go to for years and years. I don't want to speculate too much, but it is suspicious that the decline in quality directly coincides with the change of ownership. Portion sizes are down, and the quality & freshness are down as well.
An 8 oz Queso is something like $11, but you're lucky if the container is even half filled.

the new menu is blatant shrink-flasion. The Chuychanga is half the size and they raised the cost by a about 50 cents. the flour tortilla used to be thick and chewy and flavor full like a fried burrito should be. now it is a thin flavorless tortilla. the entire taste has changed and not in a good way.
