The food was delicious! Incredible. Amazingly non commercial. The greens, mac and cheese, and potato salad were well prepared, and the barbecue was tender and juicy. The portions were good. Even though some beans must have opened and spilled out in the bag and made a bit of a mess-we understand that can happen. My complements to the cook! We enjoyed every dish and would definitely order again.

I was disappointed the toast was burnt all three. wasn't expecting the extremely small portionsfor $19 and I asked for original BBQ sauce and swine wine BBQ sauce which was on my receipt but wasn't with the meal. I got two original BBQ sauces. The okra was under done. I've ate there and ordered there many times but never have gotten food bad from them before. I hope this is only a one time thing.

wife loved her ribs and the chicken was seasoned just right. I have always loved their Triple Chocolate Cake and still was delicious. City Barbecue is the place to go. especially the Ballantyne location.

They never disappoint. The food absolutely delicious and reminds me of my mama's food and that's saying a lot. I am a recurring customer and will continue to be a recurring customer. The macaroni and cheese is delicious. The collard greens are delicious and the pulled pork is delicious and they put the sauce on the side so you could put as much or as little as you like.

Ordered the TWO MEATS, TWO SIDES and the portions were literally a spoonful of each meat. For $28, I would expect at least a little more, especially since I paid extra for the brisket. Corn pudding you could tell was old, and the hush puppies seemed like they were double fried which I'm guessing they were sitting for a while too. There are definitely other places to get BBQ from. Maybe in person it's better, but not a place to order to-go food. Disappointing and a waste of money.
