Ribs had even meaty slices and the flavor was great. Brisket Chili was rich in flavor, delicious! Pulled pork sandwich on Texas toast is a large portion of pulled smoked pork and is a large sandwich with a delicious BBQ flavor. French fries were great! We will definitely order again.

I usually just don't leave a review if it's negative, but there is definitely better go-to BBQ in town. I ordered Three Meats, Two Sides . The pulled pork was fatty but had good smoke flavor, sausage was decent, and the turkey had that weird poultry taste you get when reheating and was also fatty. They forgot all 3 of the sauces I ordered. Corn pudding was decent, beans also decent but nothing you can't get out of a can. Wife got a Beef Brisket sandwich "lean cut" but I had to cut off and throw out about a third of the portion that was a large fat cap. Also forgot her sauce. The peach cobbler was slimy and truly gross. The only good thing we got for around $60 was hush puppies, but you really can't screw that up.

The pulled chicken was my absolute favorite, the turkey was very juicy, but I will say the pulled pork was a little too fatty and grizzly for my taste. The baked beans had a great amount of brisket in them however, they were very tangy almost like they were cooked in the same barbecue sauce given to dip the meat in. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I will absolutely be going back.

The cchicken was perfectly tender The fries wwith queso and bacon was so good. I've had with cheese before but not queso. I now want with queso only now. I'm a bread gal so, the grilled toast was perfect. It was thick and grilled evenly. Then we move on to the hushpuppies. They were fried to a beautiful golden brown of deliciousness. 👍♥️ Will eat there again. And soon.

First time trying them and I know they are new. Before I lived here i moved from Texas so when I say the brisket is legit I mean it! Giving feedback so my next order can be a better experience because I believe these are probably just growing pains. BBQ sauce was left out of order so the Kids Beef Brisket was dry. It has a wonderful smoked flavor even naked without sauce (but I still want to see sauce next time and be able to try all of their flavors in the future). Also the cuts were lean and a nice thickness. Mac & Cheese was baked style and dry because it's made with shredded cheese and no bechamal sauce. It's a shame because they make it with cavatappi aka corckscrew noodles so they would have held up to a heavy sauce. It was however a nice hearty side. Corn Pudding had promise, but lacked flavor, because it lacked seasoning. Some salt and maybe even a dash of black pepper would have taken it to another level. It had an inconsistant mouth feel so I do not recommend it for anyone with food texture issues. I like that there was an option to have whipped cream with the cobbler which came on the side and seemed homemade. The serving they provided is well worth the price and could easily feed two people after eating an entree with sides. It is made in the southern style with biscuits type dough on top vs. pie crust.It had a really great flavor that wasn't overly sweet and seemed to have notes of vanilla. No cutlery was provided and the kids drink was not filled up to the top, but the Coke was strong! Overall, the packaging was great, secure and kept the food hot or a decent warm temperature. Since their bag says they like to be involved with the community and support local causes I look forward to hearing from the homeless community about getting served food from here. I hope CIty BBQ contributes to the free fridge/pantry Heritage Heals, TN provides so no food ever goes to waste in JC and feeds our struggling community. Thank you for coming to my Doordash TedTalk!
