• 8/23/23City Diner is my go to restaurant, and has been years! This by far is not only the best restaurant in town, but the best in the county! Everything on the expansive menu is just fantastic, fresh, and the portions are very nice!! The owner and entire staff are just the best, so you will always receive the best service ever along with much appreciated pricing!! If you haven't been here before, trust me stop in and have a bite to eat. You will love this place as well!!
Thanks to everyone at City Diner as always for another great meal and great service tonight!! The cheese omelet with home fries was excellent and I have half left for breakfast or lunch tomorrow.

• 2/22/23Everything I have ever ordered from the City Diner has been outstanding! The steaks and chicken breasts are tender, flavorful, and always done to perfection! Breakfasts are also awesome! Some of the best homestyle cooking you can get in the western suburbs!

• 5/12/22Always fresh with high quality ingredients. Now I see why this place has been a town fixture for over 30 years! Great breakfasts and burgers. Good steaks! The omelettes are a bit to loaded for me. I like mostly eggs and just a little of the filling. They scramble the fillings into the eggs and fry the whole thing together. Other than that, they are consistently excellent!

• 8/17/23The Turkey Club Croissant is excellent!! I still have half left for tomorrow. I've been eating at City Diner for many years and everything I've ordered has been excellent!!! if haven't tried this wonderful Diner out, you are missing out on a great food, extensive collection of food breakfast, lunch, and dinner served all day and the pricing is also incredible. Thanks to Tom for all the above, and for not jacking up the prices like every other restaurant has done! the entire staff is wonderful and always treated me with kindness, and great customer service!!

• 2/4/25Our Burgers were Juicy, Hot and so Flavorful! We have never gotten a bad meal from this restaurant. My favorite is still the Reuben Sandwich.
