Since its opening in 1998, we have been named the Best Indian Restaurant in Austin by all the local magazines, and we look forward to welcoming you as our guest.
The food was good! The Lunch Tikka Masala Bowl was perfect. I also ordered Garlic & Basil Naan. It was delicious. I don't eat a whole lot at once, and it was enough to make 2 meals for me.

I have been trying all of the Indian restaurants in downtown Austin and this is my favorite so far. The Jeera Saag with Paneer is great if you are craving Palak Paneer. The Mint-Tamarind Chutney Small (V) is absolutely amazing flavor.

the standard for a doordash order is unmatched with clay pit. the paneer vindaloo was coupled with rice that came with high quality spices all around! vindaloo at their "medium" spice level was probably similar to a 2/10, like takis, so next time i'll try hot! the portion size was great and it was filling enough for me to have two separate servings. thank you clay pit! i will be ordering again.

Chickent Tikka sauce was very good; chicken a bit tough. Boyfriend said the goat was delicious. Menu not totally clear on what includes and doesn't include rice or naan so we paid for a lot of extra rice. A bit pricey for two curries but Austin is overpriced for Indian food in general.

Best Indian food in Austin metro area hands down. Lamb coconut curry and cucumber salad are stand outs. Will order again, solid value for portions you get
