The newstead beer battered cod is 10/10. Great fish and great value.
Such a shame when we pulled out the Pineapple Fritters as they were so small and crumbed. Ideally they also would have been battered with cinnamon.

The fish was soggy and awful and the chips were also soggy, soft, and barely seasoned. I stopped going here a while back because of bad experiences and somehow in the last year it has gotten even worse. This is genuinely tragic fish and chips for a ridiculous price

Cal tain Rod’s Fisherman’s Basket was yummy! The portion was huge and everything was cooked perfectly, even the chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside (hard to achieve with deliveries).
I wasn't the biggest fan of the Dagwood Dog since the batter had become a little soggy but that's the downside of getting food delivered.
