Our Story BEST CHILAQUILES IN TOWN Cocina 35 it’s a family owned restaurant that was created to bring to San Diego the essence of MEXICO, the flavors, aromas and textures that were given to us, growin…
Oh woooow I had been craving Chilaquiles for the longest! I decided to order from Cocina 35 because I pass by them all the time but because of work. I thought that the price is a bit high but I didn't care! Okay so when I get them Like 45 minutes after it was pick up I was about to report it but I got them! The portion is HUGE! OMG the taste was incredible! This have been the best Chilaquiles I've ever had in the US side! I recommend this 100% It was worth every penny! The Café de la olla was on point! This place has become my favorite breakfast place!

La Bomba chilaquiles are my go to at Cocina 35. Very tasty with the perfect amount of spice. This dish normally arrives with the chips still crispy but this time it was on the soggy side. I added an extra side of the habanero salsa, which was just okay, and kind of expensive for a 3 oz portion for $3.75. Overall, I'd order the chilaquiles again but might try getting them deconstructed next time to avoid the sogginess.

Good is delicious, esp the chilaquiles & tamal gratinado BUT the side of carne asada & grilled veggies are tiny in comparison to their cost (6.953.75 respectively). skip the sides of meat unless you're super craving them as you don't get your money's worth.

For the "best chilaquiles" in town they were just alright because they were soggy. The flavor was spot on , carnitas were crispy and yummy. I ordered delivery so possibly exist they got soggy on the drive here? I sure hope so because other reviews highly rate the chilaquiles. Maybe avoid delivery for chilaquiles. The beans were too watery and tasted like they were from a can, I'm Mexican, I can tell. The best part of my meal was the freshly squeezed orange juice, for $6 though I expected more than an "adult cup" .

I ordered the chilaquiles cremosos... and omg... I'm Mexican, so I'm not easily impressed by Mexican take out... but these were the best chilaquiles Ive ever had from any restaurant! The sauce was amazing. I also ordered a cafe de la olla and found it so nostalgic. Tastes home made. Dowsnt come with cream so you might need to order separately or have some at home but other than that, excellent
