quick prep, ready for pick up quickly, food arrived warm and delicious. great portion sizes. the Eggplant Love Green Bean is amazing, and goes perfectly with the rice that comes with it. Pepper Vs Potatoes is a surprise find, it is such a simple dish but the chefs made it so tasty 👍

I reque spicy for my beef & brocc . The spice was perfect ... the portion perfect also. The sau , though, was way too sweet. It wadnt a good combo.
The veg spring rolls were good .. the basic sweet & sauce was basic.
All in all .. just so so. I'd order "basic" Chinese food elsew for half the price.

Being in the hospital is almost never fun but having the best quality food while you wait takes some of the stress away. The portions are great and so is the flavor. Not pictured is the steamed rice and that is good too, the grains are whole not broken pieces. I'm definitely going to order again!

Ordered from Cooking Girl via DoorDash. Delivery was smooth—driver was polite and called to find my apartment, which I appreciated. Food arrived hot, even though it wasn’t in a DoorDash container, so no complaints there.
I got the General Joe’s Chicken, Mixed Special Rice, and Vegetable Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were decent—pretty small, which was surprising, but they had a nice crunch and the duck sauce helped bring out the flavor. The General Joe’s Chicken had good flavor and was definitely the highlight of the meal.
Unfortunately, the Mixed Special Rice was a letdown. It was supposed to include shrimp, pineapple, beef, and pork, but barely had any of those ingredients. The rice tasted bland, like it had been reheated multiple times, and lacked the freshness I expected. I ended up using the duck sauce just to give it some flavor, and didn’t finish it.
Also worth noting: no fortune cookies, no soy sauce, no utensils, no napkins. Basic delivery essentials were missing, which made the experience feel incomplete.
Overall, solid delivery and one good dish, but the rice and missing items brought the whole meal down. Would consider ordering again, but I’d skip the rice and double-check the bag next time.
