I definitely want to give "my new spot" a special shout out. I had the privilege of eating at this great restaurant. In order to see how good the food taste, I order a few different meals. I first ordered a steam Snapper meal with provisions instead of rice and beans, to see how they were going to customize my meal. Next, I ordered a breakfast meal in the late afternoon. The dish was Ackee and Saltfiah with provisions. Lastly I ordered a chicken soup to see how they were going to make it. I must admit, this restaurant went up and beyond my expectations, with the presentation, taste, and customer service. The servings were so plentiful, I shared it with my wife, who almost fought me to get the food after she tasted it, LOL. Although they didn't have the cooked banana that I requested at the time, that doesn't take anything away from them. I recommend this restaurant if you want good authentic tasting Jamaican/Caribbean food. I would know... with family in Jamaica! 👍🏿

Oxtail roti was certainly on point! Flavorful , tender and a generous portion of oxtail stew, enough for 2. The stewed cabbage was a little al dente for my taste and will cook them more.

I ordered their Goat Soup (Manish Water) and their Red Peas Soup. Both were just horrible and inauthentic in aroma, taste, appearance and consistency. I literally threw them both in the garbage. Take my advice, don't waste your money

Although they sent the incorrect slice of cake (we ordered the Pineapple Coconut , but received a strawberry coconut slice instead), the food was amazing! The Curry Chicken Roti was fresh and tasted authentic and the carrot cake was exceptional! I felt like I was in back home in NY even for just a short while! Will absolutely be ordering again! Thank you.

I was so excited to orde food from here. A place thats so fresh, flavorful and delicious. My mom and haven't ordered in a while. She love the oxtail dinner which is always a hit with her. Fresh, tender and full of flavor. But as for me and my favorite dish... not great, not even good. Very disappointed. I was ready to dig into my Brown Stew Chicken Roti I had asked for extra gravy since I like to dip my Roti which is always soft and delicious. But this roti has dried pea inbetween the layers and there is no stew juice and the chicken is dry and old. Not happy at all. Im all about singing a restaurant's praises but I am also honest when they get it wrong. Especially when it is pricey. I expect better. Overall the food is usually good and one of the only places I like.
