I was craving a good danish and a croissant breakfast sandwich, so I checked yelp for some recommendations. Copenhagen Crown Bakery popped up and had both items, so I was happy to see them on DoorDash. The ordering process is so confusing. For the Danishes you can't choose the flavor, and they lump in other items under this category. I used the "special requests" section and asked for the berry one, praying someone would read it, and, yay! I got it. Under the Fancy Pastries, Hi-End (Upscaled) Pastries I noticed lemon bars listed so, again, I used the "special requests" section to ask for it. Yay, I got it, but Nay on what it actually is...or isn't. I can only best describe the lemon bar as a yellow, super chewy mochi/rice cake that is not, in any way, a traditional lemon bar. It is also very small...maybe 3"x3.5". Lastly, on the menu, Breakfast Sandwiches with Croissant made me think this was the egg/bacon/cheese CROISSANT sammy I was craving. After choosing the meat, the next required section was "White Toast" or "Wheat Toast"...hmmm...this put me in a confused state. Why would I want toast on the side of a croissant breakfast sandwich, and why is this a requirement? Too much bread. Oh well, I just haphazardly chose wheat and guess what I received? A very thin package. Hoping their croissants were flat, I opened it and wow...it was basically a regular sandwich on wheat (not toasted whatsoever) with a super thin egg, some torn-apart bacon, and MAYBE a tiny bit of cheese. I wish I could go back to the menu from here, but I'm pretty sure the picture for the item was a crossaint sandwich. I am so bummed. The 1 star is for the only positive - the berry danish is pretty darn great with a hot cup of coffee.
