the taste and quality was good, however I paid the premium for barbacoa beef (it's 2 whole dollars more than chicken) and didn't get even an ounce of meat in my small salad. I swear it's like they used tweezers. someone else said something similar: if you're going to cut costs, at least do it appropriately. at least they remembered our extra dressing and salsa. the tres leches looks like it normally does, the horchata tastes great, and the rest of the food is correct and tasty, but I'm really upset that I barely got a full bite of the protein I paid more for. I'm not spending even more just to get the right amount and have them call it "extra," I just want a decently balanced meal.

The best thing about this location is how consistent they are. Not only does the food always taste and look the same, the decent portions are sized the same every time I order. The Baja Bowls and regular Salads are so filling, the meat is juicy and well cooked usually, lettuce fresh and crisp. Tres Leches tends to leave a bit of a film in my mouth from all the fat in the creams but it's tasty anyway!

We love we costa vida we order once a week for a family of four. Quality is always amazing. However, we have noticed the last few weeks the protein portion size has been cut in half. I know that times are hard. Please cut costs some other way.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. I ordered a sweet pork large salad and I only had a tablespoon of sweet pork, black beans and hardly any rice. I understand I ordered a salad, but there is no base to it. It quite annoying actually. I guess I'll just need to order in store in order to hope my order is made correctly.
