I was under the weather, and figured Sopa de Pollo / Chicken Soup was the right move. I looked around and figured I'd try Costambar since it was close and relatively quick. I have genuinely never had a better chicken soup in my life. I don't even like yucca, and this worked incredibly well with it. Honestly, better than most sancocho I've had. it was flavorful and the consistency of sancocho, but with its own direction and a few noodles.

Be prepared to get more starch than meat with the lunch portions...for example, I got the Chicharon de Pollo / Fried Chicken and there's more chicharon on a scarecrow than the serving...BUT it was DELICIOUS. The yuca needed a little more moisture-just a bit dry. Mangu 3 Golpe EXCELLENT. Platanos perfect-not greasy-not burned-just right, but cold. I blame the driver for that not the restaurant. He prob had it all in his trunk SMH; cold outside. Would I order again? 75% yes.

Beans 10/10! Love a Dominican spot. Food was fresh and hot. Great portion, gave a lot of food. Definitely ordering again !

Realmente eso no fue mondongo, era paticas de cerdo y enviaron una porción como para un niiño de 3 años. De verdad se pasan, los precios altísimos y reducen la porción. En cuanto al sabor, pudo haber estado mejor, demasiada agua y eso hacer no se sienta el sabor.

Lamentablemente no me gusto el sancocho era muy aguado y el envase muy pequeño y los pedazos de víveres muy grande
