Shrimp and grits were very delicious with a good amount of shrimp, and so was the bread pudding! The corn bread is moist and crumbly and the best I've ever had (probably lots of butter!).

The etoufee is okay, I ordered it extra spicy, not spicy, but flavor is good. The dish does not resemble the photo, there's 4 shrimp and some crawfish but not the ample shrimp/crawfish shown in the photo, hard to justify $30. Ordered a side of gravy for $2.50, flavor is fine, nothing exceptional, was given about 4 tablespoons of gravy, not enough for the fried chicken breast I ordered.

I ordered the Cup of Seafood Gumbo and the Side of Red Beans & Rice , both were missing that signature soul food taste and flavor. This is not Louisiana creole, there was no Louisiana creole soul food flavor at all. The Cup of Seafood Gumbo had okra which made it slimy, but no crab legs; the gumbo wasn't cooked in the Seafood boil seasoning which is what gives Gumbo that taste we like and expect. The Red Beans were not simmered with a ham hock ( or smoked turkey leg) which is what makes the soul food flavor.
Al in all, both dishes lacked traditional Louisiana creole soul food flavoring and was just plain tasting soup and beans. I do not recommend.

The Shrimp Entoufee and Fried Catfish in cornmeal was very tasty . I've ordered the Catfish at least 4 times in past 6 months. My only disappointment is the reduction in quantity received or portion size and the inability to request additional pieces of catfish as a side dish if desired.

Short rib dry. Fried chicken no seasoning. Grits like paste. Oysters were super fishy and seemed slimy and old. Gumbo had weird white stringy fat through out.
