This was our first time ordering from here, and we were glad to find a well-liked Indian restaurant. I reviewed some of the other reviews and saw comments about 'small-ish' portions. I could see that with the shrimp marsala and tandoori chicken but the butter chicken and the CTM both filled the containers. We'll chalk it up to quality vs. quantity - the flavors were great for the family, spiced but not spicy, and the naan was a hit with everyone!

The samosas and the lassinare great, but the naan is overly chewy and burnt and the lamb was fatty, overcooked, and the masala sauce was bland. Usually the lamb dishes from Indian restaurants is spicier than their usual fare, this was not the case with Cumin. And i have to say i was sorely disappointed 😞.

This was my wife's first time ordering from this restaurant but she absolutely loves Indian cuisine and eats it whenever she has the chance. She was extremely disappointed in both the butter chicken and the chicken biryani. The actual chicken in the butter chicken was dry and overcooked and the sauce was bland. The opposite was true of the biryani-it was so over spiced it was chunky and borderline soggy with large woody pieces of spices throughout the entire dish. It was completely inedible and she ended up throwing it away. Would not recommend.

Cumin is one of our favorite places but this last meal was a little disappointing - the sauces were all delicious as usual but the dishes were mostly sauce. The shrimp dish in particular only had 6 shrimp for example which doesn't seem enough for all the sauce. The vegetable dish was full of veggies but the chicken and shrimp were mostly sauce.

Its all delicious but I always love their Butter Chicken and the Lamb Tikka Masala. Cannot go wrong with the Chilli Chicken MoMo either! Spicy and Soooo yummy!
