Been ordering from Dannys on 51 for 35 yrs. Bethel is the OG location but I feel like 51 had better hoagies. Might be that they just didnt clean their ovens that often which added flavor. Still, the Half Famous Italian is famous for a reason and best in the city. The Meatball and Ricotta Pizza was incredible.

Not the taste and quality that I've been used to at Danny's. The hoagie was burnt. Both the hoagie and pizza were hard the pizza crumbled when I taped it on a paper plate and both items were cold as if they were made several hours ago and sat out. I would never expect delivery to be hot as if I was eating it in the restaurant but it was not in the least bit warm.
I will say this definitely been a one off situation. Everytime I've ordered take out or pick up I have really enjoyed it.
I would still absolutely recommend as their food is delicious, today was an exception.

Very strong hoagies! (Steak and Italian). Team was kind enough to put sauce on the side of the steak, hope they can add an option to select it in the app in the future so I don't need to call.

Ordered 2 Italian hoagies crispy bread , cheesy a lot of meat and lettuce tomato onion . Very satisfying and delicious as always ! Happy to see them on DoorDash

Best hoagies in the area! So glad Danny's is on doordash now. We live in Finleyville and don't have many pizza delivery options around us.
