$18 for a sub that is smaller than a foot long is too much in my opinion.
The bread is so small the sandwich cant shut...so its basically open face. Sandwiches should have enough bread to sandwich the ingredients together.
Also the first time ive gotten pickle spears on a sub. I would recommend sliced pickles

Best sub I've had around town in a LONG and I mean LONG time. Highly suggest a #13 w provolone cheese! YUM! so good I'm gonna order it again for dinner tonight! don't sleep on the poutine either! totally worth the price! 12/10 recommend Dave's Cosmic Subs!

What a rip off this place is. I ordered a #15 Corned Beef for $15 and I received an old flaky roll with only meat. Glad I didn't order the Large for $10 more. I've ordered from here twice and even Subway gives you more options. Don't order from Dave's if want what you pay for.

If you like a smaller sub with only 6 pieces of meat (please keep in mind that this comes with 3 different kinds of meat), an overkill of shredded cheese, and 4 tiny banana pepper pieces, you'll love this place! Out of the 6 pieces of meat, I got 1 tinys slice of Prosciutto that was cut in half on the whole thing.
The pasta salad was the mushiest, starchiest, most unfavorable one I've ever had, and I'm a huge pasta salad fan!. I took two bites and threw it out, it was that bad.
Second time I've ordered from here in the last 6 months, never again. Extremely disappointed.

Not a doordash order but I had a very special day recently and decided to buy some Reuben's for my friend and myself to celebrate. We looked at every option and decided to go here for our Rueben since we had good experiences with cold sandwiches in the past.
33$ for the two worst Rueben's my friend and I have had. Bread wasn't toasted and it was stale on parts. No thousand island and if there was, what kind of ratio was that? Kraut was fine. They did not go light on the meat but for how small the sandwich was I think more is fair for 15$ a pop.
Dave's impressed me with how much you could mess up a Reuben. Had to buy a 2nd dinner somewhere else for how small the meal was.
For the record, every other sandwich I've had from them is great.
