The chicken curry was very flavorful and the chicken so tender!
The cabbage side dish was incredible. I've never tasted anything like it before.
The carrot cake was delicious. It had great texture with identifiable shreds of carrot cake, like homemade, in the best sense. I only ordered it because they were out of the rum cake, but I'm glad I did.

The Codfish Balls were okay, they are a nice size, however, there is not enough Codfish in them to call them Codfish Balls .They are mostly potatoes, and no onions or anything like that. They give you a very small container of sour cream which is barely enough for 1 codfish ball never mind 5.
Ripe Fried Plantains are always delicious to me, having grown up in a Jamaican household, I know how they are supposed to look and taste. My ONLY issue with the Fried Plantains is they were served swimming in the oil they were cooked in. The cook did not blot the excess oil from them, so when I received them, the bottom of the container they were in was bright and shiny like a reflection pool due to the amount of oil/grease they were sitting in.
As for my cabbage, again having expectations of how the cabbage is supposed to look and taste, this was not it. I have had cabbage from other Jamaican restaurants in St. Louis, and they did it right, My cabbage had no onions, no green or red pepper, no seasoning, it tasted old and looked days old, I did not eat but 1 forkful before having to throw it away. Lastly, was the Sorrel Drink ( Hibiscus Flowers) It tasted as I remembered, I just needed to add a little more sugar as it was very tart. Overall I am giving 2 stars because of the reasons mentioned above. I Paid around $25.00 and I feel like I wasted $20.00. I know this restaurant can do better.

The Curried Chicken , Jamaica Jerked Chicken ( extra sauce is on the side menu) and Fried Plantains on the menu are consistently delectable!! Every time I order my food arrives hot! Best in St. Louis!!!

The Oxtail Stew was incredible!!! Cooked perfectly and the stew was *chefs kiss*. Good portion on Rice and Cabbage. Definitely will order again!!

SO GOOD! I could eat the cabbage alone all day, every day. Jerk Pork Side was a great proportion and delicious. I look forward to trying more.
