• 6 days agocame for California for a funeral and was feigning for some good African food and Deddeh'Kitchen was absolutely amazing. We had the attire and fish, palmbutter soup with rice, peanut butter soup, plantain and of cause the pepper sauce. All was super delicious and extra palatable 💯💯

• 1/2/26I got the palm butter and Fufu and let me tell you! Delicious my son and I shared it and there was still sauce left over cooked the real Liberian way fresh and flavor filled the beef was stewed to perfection even the bones tasted great can't wait to order it again

• 6/4/26Ma Deddeh did it again! When I'm craving Liberian Jollof Rice, I know I can come here. I ordered from here 1 or 2 weeks ago, and the food was great then, but this batch of jollof rice was even more flavorful! The hot pepper is perfect! Not too hot and has great flavor. The chicken is fried perfectly to my liking and the whole combo was delicious!
Whether you're new or true to African food, especially Liberian food, Deddeh's Kitchen is the place to trust!

• 1/2/26Potato greens were quite tasty slight smokiness from the Turkey neck protein consisted of chicken and turkey neck. Great portion size could tell this was made fresh today. Spiciness is on the mild side however, if you don't eat a lot of spice you may find it spicy
Overall seasoning was good. Taste was good not too oily greens were juicy. Chicken was seasoned through the bone. Very enjoyable would definitely order again.

• 7/17/26Out of the all the times I've ordered jollof rice from Deddeh's Kitchen, this was the first time I was disappointed.
I can't tell whether to be impressed that I've gone this long without a bad review or to be sad that the quality of this plate was questionable...
When I opened the tray, it looked great, except I was greeting by 1 fried chicken drum and 3 small, boned pieces - not sure if they were chicken either... The standard there is 2 fried drums, always.
Still, 1 and change is better than none, so I went for my first bite of the drum, and it wasn't appetizing. It didn't taste fresh like it usually does. It wasn't necessarily dry, yet it was extremely tough to bite which was off-putting.
The jollof rice was flavorful for the most part... just kind of smoky, and it had an odd tang to it that I wasn't used to.
My hope is that it was just a bad day, because I usually do recommend their jollof rice. But last night was disappointing.
