Spicy Italian Sandwich is great and the Build Your Own Sandwich Combo is a great deal. Liked both sandwiches. Will definitely order again. Fast service after ordering too.

In the past, I have considered Deli Belly top-notch sandwiches, but this was disgusting. The soup had zero clams, its was abnormally thick, and tasted odd. The sandwhich was worse. It was suppose to be turkey and bacon. There was only one small piece of bacon on each half of the sandwhich and it was burnt. The turkey was not slices rather shreds the texture of tuna. It was very poorly assembled and did not taste good. Not worth 26$!

Varsity Sandwich is my go-to sandwich. I honestly like the La Mesa location better. Lakeside over cooks the bacon and barely puts any avocado on the sandwich.

The pictures are deceiving. Hardly any toppings, or meat. three tiny slivers of avocado on the salad and sandwich, 2 sammis and a salad for 40 bucks I was expecting a lot more. Flavors were good,
