I ordered the pork tamales. They were very, very delicious. If you want tamales, these won't disappoint you.

I never received the Sweet Tamale Dozen so I can't rate that item. The Regular Pork Dozen were a good size which was a pleasant surprise. Tamales seem to get smaller each year I buy them. The tamales had very little flavor but weren't dripping with grease. The masa to pork ratio favored the masa so there's that. The Bill Miller tamales have a better flavor but good luck trying to get BM tamales that are fresh. I wouldn't buy these tamales again but when you get a yearning for a tamale, you just order where you can get them.

I realllly wanted to like these. The Masa (that wasn't crispy)was good but the chicken was kind of actually hard. They are super small tamales so I'm sure if they had them under a lamp or something, that'll crisp em up. I'm going to try them again at some point but probably earlier in the day, maybe that'll be better.

I live in Northwest Austin, but I followed DT online anyway because...TAMALES! I was so glad to learn about the new store opening up NEAR ME! They did not disappoint. These tamales taste like the ones I used to eat growing up in Seguin, TX! They take me back and they'll do the same for you! Get there early before they're all gone for the day!
