El Paso Potato is exactly that it captures local flavors from the salsa to the beans. It was really good the brisket is smokey and tender. TheSmoked Turkey Breast was really good as well peppery the way I line it. my only complaint is the bbq a little too el paso for my liking. I've never eaten here in person so they might have different bbq sauce

Thank you for the meal. It was nicely packaged. The brisket and turkey was good. The chicken was ok. However, I would not order this rmeal a second time. There was one slice of brisket; one slice of turkey; and 4 wings. In this beautiful El Paso, I've been receiving a good value for the price. So, for $30, this place fell short of my experience in Texas so far.

Meats were very good. I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, and turkey. The turkey was a particular standout, very delicious. Mac and cheese was fine, a bit dry. The creamed corn was excellent, good chile flavor. Ordered the Mom's Banana Pudding (To Go) tasted good, but the quantity certainly wasn't worth the over $7 asking price.

3 Three Meat Plate (To Go) My 3 meat choice was brisket (moist), pulled pork & pork ribs. For my 2 sides i went with beans & mac & cheese, & the cornbread with pickle chips on the side as well as bbq sauce on side
Real smoked bbq, is done without bbq. None is needed. the rub & smoke is what makes Desert Oak bbq pop.
pork ribs: 5 star, slight tug which i love (No BBQ sauce needed)
Moist brisket: 5 star, melts like butter in your mouth. (No bbq sauce needed)
pulled pork 5 star Mine came with part of bark. pure candy (No bbq sauce needed)
mac & cheese 3 star. was expecting it smoked & a cheese type crust. Noodles were a bit more al dente. needed more cooking time.
beans 2 star. huge disappointment. was expecting a bbq type beans. some sweet spicy pop with either bits of pulled pork or brisket. felt like I was eating regular pinto beans.
cornbread 3 star. felt it was missing something
overall 4 star. Would I recommend/return?

I recently moved here from Pittsburgh and was really looking forward to trying this place, im so sad to say i'm disappointed. I will first start by saying the food was hot upon arrival, the portion sizes are a little small for the price but everything was packaged perfectly, the meat was very tender and that and the drinks were the best part of my whole order. The Mac and Cheese was bland I wasn't a fan of the taste, the potato salad was not horrible but was also bland to me it tasted more like mashed potatoes, the cornbread had jalapeño and corn it wasn't bad but it was not what I expected and it was ice cold, the banana pudding had no banana and no cookies , there looked to have been some crumbs so I assume either they use a cookie crumble or maybe my scoop just didn't get the good stuff. Nevertheless overall I'd give this place a 5/10. I really had high hopes for this place but unfortunately I'm not sure I'd order again
