Recently discovered Desta and have been very happy with the flavors and the portion sizes of the menu items. My family LOVES the Doro Wat with Salad and there are 2 full chicken legs and one egg, with a lot of extra thick sauce that tastes like homemade. The Tibs with Salad are made with beef and are super tasty and once again- is a good portion size including a salad and plenty of injera with teff. We also get a Veggie Combo to share and this is a great option as a sharable side or a meal or 2 for a vegetarian.
Normally I stay away from Doro wat because other restaurants sometimes give you only one chicken leg and all runny sauce. This is a filling portion of each item and we have leftovers. The only thing I wish is that there was a lamb dish like yebeg alicha, a beef wat and more veggie options on the menu.

Delicious! the Tibs with Salad was so good - the beef was savory and a little spicy, and the vegetables were wonderfully seasoned. The injera was just as good as I remember - a spongey bread with a sourdough flavor, and perfect for picking up the meat. Also the Pineapple Juice 16oz Cup was huge - it was in a 44oz cup with plenty of ice!

The food was good and a nice infusion of tradtional Ethiopian with contemporary. It worked well. My husband normally doesnt like Ethiopian but he loved the wings and rice. Will order again.

Excellent food ! Authentic Ethiopian food with and offers some fusion dishes. It was excellent ! I will be ordering again !
