We are local to Hampton and are thrilled to have a high quality Indian restaurant right here for us and those vacationing here to enjoy. We've eaten in several times and have loved everything we ordered. Tonight we got takout and really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Coconut Shrimp Curry, Vegetable Samosa (which are really delicious) and the Cheese Garlic Naan. We like spice and the medium spice level worked for us while still tasting the flavors. Highly recommended!

The Chicken Tikka Masala was a perfect spice level of 4 that was requested. Yummy! However, the Aloo Gobi, while good, was way too spicy for the order level of mild. Just couldn’t eat very much of it which was a real shame for the price. In general, their dishes are authentic and good, but overpriced. For delivery 2 dishes and 2 bottles of water $61…. Ouch.

We had our meal delivered by DoorDash and ev was hot and delicious. The Chicken Tikka Masala was as good as it was when we had it in the restaurant. Highly recommended. The Special Chicken Curry had a really unique depth of flavor, more complex than most Indian dishes. I had the Palak Paneer (hot, the others were medium) and really enjoyed it. The Cheese Garlic Naan was also a little different but yummy. The highlight was the vegatable Vegetable Samosa, which have an excellent filling but the pastry is heavenly--light and flaky and the sauces flavorful. If you like Indian food you will love Destination India. And if you haven't yet tried it, don't pass this up.

I was practically at the door on opening day and I've been back multiple times already since -- love this place and now it's on DoorDash -- hoorah! It's not Jewel in the Crown (all time favorite) and its not Tulsi (special occasion favorite) but its good in its own right and in a different way: I liked their garlic naan better than plain; and no spice (chicken tikka marsala) has the tiniest but perfect amount of spice -- everything I've tried so far has been excellent.
