Keep in mind it's $5 a Jamaican Beef Patty doesn't come with two. Overall amazing flavors and portions. Appreciated the restaurant for calling me to let me know they were out of a side I ordered before accepting my order.

Di Palms Braised Oxtail has gone downhill in just a few short months which is really sad. Quality control is out the window: instead of doing peas and rice, they are using partially cooked red beans. It was bad enough that the oxtail portions were too small for the price but they used to be delicious. No longer. The seasonings are now hit and miss and they are adding butter beans to The little bit of oxtails they do provide, i'm drenched in sauce with a regular seasonings and hard vegetables; ￼it is an all out mess. You can tell that no one from the Caribbean or African-Americans are in the kitchen because there is absolutely no caretaking with the food anymore. I tried to give it a chance and I've ordered numerous times but sadly no more. Just like Lucille's barbecue has totally gone downhill so has this restaurant which again is so sad because it had terrific promise. Fire all the kitchen staff and bring back the people who know how to prepare this food properly. If I could give zero stars I would.￼￼￼

Di Palms Braised Oxtail is hit or miss. 2-3 pieces of oxtail in small section of 3 section container, with largest section comprised of overcooked rice with butter beans (makes no sense) instead of traditions pigeon peas. 2-3 pieces of oxtail for $25!!! On this occasion plantain tasted like overboiled potato with yellow coloring. A disappointing waste of money that will make any Caribbean rage & cry!

jerk Jerked Chicken was the worst I ever had. very very very dry and burnt. the pieces were so small couldn't tell what it was, no spices taste like ketchup!!!!. plantain was dry not sweet at all.

Di Palms Braised Oxtail was DELICIOUS, Ripe Plantains perfect. Only critique is filling large section of plate with rice. Needs more meat. Also they say white rice, brown rice or peas. I think they mean rice& peas. No one wants that much plain rice.
