• 6/29/26This market has incredible meats, as you know Barbacoa is definitely a hit or miss, and this place's barbacoa is super flavorful and not full of fatty pieces like other taquerias I've been to. Today was the first time I ordered the carnitas and I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as delicious. I highly recommend Don Tomate because it is not just tasty but it's also a great deal! Check them out!!

The Tamales Half Dozen have a tiny and I mean tiny bit of meat in them, it's all masa. I would never order them again.

• 5/4/25Delicious, warm and clean barbacoa with green salsa. The cilantro and onion mix was mostly onions. Overall, barbacoa was very good.
